I took this white water rafting, and it held up like a champ. It does not shoot really crisp video, and contemplating the vibrant sun, problems have been rather excellent, but the outcomes had been far from. The factor is though, that doesn’t genuinely matter. If you want to shoot good video, purchase a good video digital camera. This factor, on the other hand, is waterproof! And very so! I don’t know if you have ever been white water rafting, but it can get fairly brutal, and soon after obtaining fully submerged much more than when, and bounced all around a couple of occasions as effectively, the unit still appears and performs as great as new. I’m quite, really impressed with its create good quality. I give four stars simply because I am not very impressed with its image top quality.

If you need some thing you can abuse, this is your digital camera it’ll take it. If you require some thing which will create remarkable video, buy some thing else. And be cautious with it.

This is by far 1 of the largest rip-offs in cameras nowadays. The guts inside this camera were substantial tech in the year 1999. Video is serviceable at best and the stills it requires aren’t even 1MP. For god sakes cell phones take better photographs then this issue. The unique iphone requires greater stills.

If you just want this for video then get 1 of the numerous far better underwater video cameras out there. There are a lot of very good ones to choose from and they are all less costly then this piece of junk.

Just to display you how poor it is [...]refused to do a evaluation of the digital camera due to the fact it was so bad and way overpriced. They said it didn’t even deserve to be reviewed, and soon after playing with 1 myself I have to agree. Its sad simply because panasonic helps make so good cameras, but they gave the engineers the day off on this 1….steer clear of at all charges!!!!

I worked beneath water as soon as. I took it again and it drowned!!! Not a great digital camera for underwater, thinking about I didnt go below 5 feet.
