Review: This camera is a great HD camera at a reasonable price (which is what happens when six months passed since the introduction of a product in the consumer market). However, the lack of the ability of HD file FireWire edit a big problem. To FireWire you need in less resolution 1440 (instead of 1920×1080 record), which allowed large high-resolution files to automatically download with FireWire werden.Mein MacBook Pro has FireWire and I’m used to editing in iMovie . No more. Now I have to download the files, edit them and then get converted. Major Bummer.Jedenfalls it is worth all the money I paid for it and the 3CCD is amazing. Review: I am very satisfied with picture quality that I see, impressed with the integrated display of HD6. The battery life is relatively inconspicuous. But the great difficulty I have in the transmission of the video from the camera to my brand new Macbook.Ich trying to use Final Cut Pro and iMovie, and neither one recognizes the files on the camera. In this research after the fact, I discovered the lie that the camera is a real 1080p camera. JVC is not doing itself any favors by misleading naive buyer. But worse than the fact that I have to edit footage that is completely useless for me makes one wish I would have returned the goods within 14 days for a full Rückerstattung.JVC, Tear yourselves together. Offer adequate solutions to import video from the camera to the computer, or at least as honest, the buyer, that “the GZ-HD6 is not Macintosh-compatible product to be informed.” Get in touch with me to solve the problem, and I will remove my review from Amazon. Review: I am very happy woth this product. The picture quality is excellent, the controls intuitive rather than my last camera. . . Changes in the settings is much easier. This was the least expensive 3-CCD camera, I could find, but it was about half the price of the Mini DV 3 CCD camera that I bought a few years ago. It’s pretty amazing. Rating: 5.4
