Review: I have this and returned the next day. The main reason is that the battery sticks out like soar thumb. The video and picture quality is great but I could not get over the look and feel of the camcorder. Rating: 2 / 5

Review: I almost decided it would not, because this model of the 10x optical zoom. The first thing I discovered five minutes ago when I opened the box is that the DCR-SR300 says he actually a 20x zoom! I thought that this information weitergeben.Ich I decided to give it 5 STARS because: (1) The review required that I give it a rating in order to write this review! (2) Because of the 20x zoom! (3) And it is a reasonable guess that I still feel that it is a 5′s! George Rating: 5 / 5

acquired Review: UPDATE-I HST1 mic and solved my pain loud music up to 112dB avg. c-weighted, nevertheless, the external microphone rolls at 150Hz, so that the bass is missing, but I, m Happy. I love my new camera. I have it for a few months now in possession. The video is great. The built-in camera is great mic up to 105dB. But recently I’ve tried a video filmed at a rock concert, and had a few problems. First, the camera does such high volume music. The store had a hard time getting Writng to disk, and “Buffering” overloaded “warnings and would have to start the video. And the audio track was completely overwhelmed and distorted. – ((This was with the external mic Corrected HST1 )) It is so bad that the whole video in the garbage to the end. But I kept the pictures, of course. mic reference to the low setting, but it seems low is not low enough. Be advised, this is very loud music , probably closing in on the 115-120dB in the camera. Other than this problem, I love the camera so far! Some of the camera are good for loud music, it seems the disk overload problems have buffering at avg. 112dB, or louder at the camera. Perhaps the vibrations caused the problem. disable the drop sensor did nothing to help. Rating: 4 / 5

Review: The statues of the camera will look very nice, but I have problems with the movies it records. I’m finally past mpeg2 problem by buying the QuickTime MPEG-2 plugin from Apple ($ 20), although 08 iMovie can import. No matter what I do is the image quality of the films will be made very grainy in full screen mode. I thought it was the change that imoview did so thats why I bought the QuickTime plugin. Now there is no conversion at all, I can play the movies directly in QuickTime. I see the film at a size suitable for web pages, you play look great, but when I play them anywhere on the screen they see schrecklich.Save Your Money and Buy minDV recorder! The image quality of this recorder is so much better. Rating: 1 / 5
