I had problems getting the video to DVD, exported and called Sanyo USA Customer Service for help. The level of support was horible. I ended up with to find out, recognize the problem in my own, only that it continuously over 30 () takes hours to encode one hours of HD video in DVD format! Very disappointed is an understatement. I bought this camera and opened the box from the design style and small form factor excited. This camera is really good looking and the screen works great. I took some video and went through the HDMI dck my HDTV connected to play. I looked at the video and thought I had messed up something. The picture looked terrible, it was grainy and blurry. The lighting level was useless. Really a great idea – just terrible picture quality. This article is falling. Rating: 2 / 5

I have the camera and tested it in my office building 12 near the window, and I found the quality of my film is grainy, very much so. Spanning across the room was not flüssig.Dann I compared the quality of the videos with a standard camera like Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX2 and I found the quality of video to be similar, although I do not with the hi-def. . . My conclusion is that this camera is nice, but is a mediocre digital camera and a medium of video camera!. . . not good enough to justify the video to the 299-dollar price point!. . . I’ll try to be patient enough for the next version of Xacti, or perhaps a new competitor in this form factor. . . (Pocket) Rating: 2 / 5

Got itGebraucht esGesehen my FilmSent it back.Die picture quality is really terrible. If you play it looks as if it is frames and the light detection capability is another major disaster. In other words, look, if you have a good quality HD camcorder, or else where. Rating: 1 / 5

I must say I was very excited about this camcorder, as it known for a forthcoming trip my wife, read and take to Australia. The size, weight and the fact that it was is an HD camcorder from a very appealing. Unfortunately, the camera fell short on the output side of things. Although it is nice designed came, photos and movies hoping for very soft and not as crisp as I had. The image stabilizer is also weak, if you will, to a monopod or tripod, do not worry. Sanyo also said that with Apple iMovie ’08, which is somewhat true, is consistent. Although not download it easy to use, I found that it seems to drop frames and is very nervous. I worked with Apple on the question of the 3rd-party plug-ins, but point seemed to fix, unfortunately no joy! I think I am filming with my 2 years old Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX01, the better results, since both were still camera and video recorder. I have the Sanyo Xacti HD700 two stars only because of the design. Otherwise I would have given it only 1 star. Rating: 2 / 5
