Excellent camera. . . very compact with good picture quality. Love the high-definition movies, and its perfect for the home! I would recommend this camera just anyone, unless you have really big hands. It could be a little cumbersome to switch the recording on and off with your thumb, if your hands are big.Rating: 5 / 5

This handy flash camera can be everything advertised. The video is smooth with vibrant colors. Although it is not as small as the Canon, this camera SF200 get big enough for the average size of the hand, a good grip and hold steady to shot. This Panasonic is one of the few camcorders in this price range with an EVF, a feature that I prefer to use. For those who like a bit moved by hand, Panasonic is implementing very intuitive. Like any other AVCHD camcorder, you will need good software to make the video. The HD Writer software that came with the camera, is appropriate, but Apple iMovie or Pinnacle, and Adobe products are better.Rating: 5 / 5

This is my 3rd HD camera. The first time I had a JVC HD-7, very good video in high outdoor light only lasted inside was totally very poor. I make many videos of my child in the house and also with all the lights on, it was very poor quality, so I went with the new Panasonic 3MOS for all the praise it has been at the low light conditions. That was the worst camera I ever used ever. the video quality was like a camera phone. This camera is my favorite of the 3rd It is very very small, but heavy and feels very well built. I love the fact that I think he may the little cradle, and no fiddling with the USB and power cord. I love the fact that the lens cover automatically closes, unlike the JVC. I love the touch screen. The video in high-light is very good, probably as good as the more robust 26Mbps mpeg host of the JVC. low light is not everything, but what I hope is still better than the JVC, and one million times better than the Panasonic 3MOS chip. It is good enough to make me happy, after two HD failures. Please note on any other bundled software lacks power. This camera is capable of 60i, but for some reason the bundled software is not. You can only PowerDirector, if you record in 30p mode. Even Premiere CS4 saw the 60i MP4 files as 15fps and they do not walk right. AVS Video Tools finally worked well for me and has a lifetime upgrade option available.Rating: 4 / 5

I had this issue back, because the format it records in it just too difficult. You can get a converter, but it is such an annoyance. The main reason I bought this book the focus ring. When you are ready, a little more money to spend, the focus ring, I recommend you purchse the JVC GZ HD7. It is the camera I have now. The focus ring is like butter, and it records in a format that my computer can recognize.Rating: 2 / 5
