It is simply irresponsible for a company put out a new product that NO SUPPORT / editing solution available. And to support the promise of the future? That is a $ 1300 bet, PLUS you do what you have to download the editing software that happens to support this new format, I would bezahlen.NO WAY this thing. My advice is to wait a couple of months. The More I DEAL WITH THIS, I am angry, I bought the VRD-MC3 and the DCR-SR40 because of the way you advertised how you jump from one to another Datensatz.Sehen Do not encoded small print footnote that DOES NOT state directly that you “do not record directly from the DCR-SR40, which is VRD-MC3 on a duel layer DVD” The stupid, why would someone build a video system with a 30-GB drive, then say They have a burner that make it compatible, then the largest medium, the burner can not burn directly compatible with the video recording system? When will you fix it? “I’ve always thought that Sony was” Top of the line “but I had difficulty with the last 4 Sony products that I bought disappointed, and I think I’m gonna start something about it tun.NEIN THANK YOU! There is no software that I could find for the Mac that works with your camcorder. Maybe with time ändern.Die software that offers the Sony is pretty bad and in fact, I did not understand working video playback clean. The user interface is clunky and not very intuitiv.Die hardware (ie camcorder itself) seems pretty solid and serviceable, but I’m very disappointed in the rest. I’m sending back my. Rating: 2 / 5
