I was impressed very satisfied with the low light capabilities, but it is very fragile. The joystick for zoom is cheap plastic, and I have experience with the warranty from Sony or the lack there of, my Sony 52 “HD TV later had no power until a week before Christmas, 14 months after purchase, $ 800 and 5 months it was fixed …. I think it works well, I gave them refuge in a woman. Anyway, I have the Panasonic SD5, easier storage (HD card) for better quality … The guru at Best Buy says much of the HV20, Sony’s coming back! SD5 and have better battery life. I will give full review of the SD5, if it ever comes;) Rating: 3 / 5

I was thrilled to get this camera and I shot some footage. But I found out (too late) that the * only * way to get the video cassete is recorded on MiniDV obtained via FireWire. That’s great. I have not bought a MAC on the hand and none of my laptops (last year) have have Firewire. So no Freude.Als I researched this camera, if not, and I do not mean where it was mentioned that the video could only be transferred from MiniDV via firewire. I could not buy if I had known that. Now I have to pay it back and not fight, minus a Bearbeitungsgebühr.Btw, the manual suggests that you use a USB cable, but it does not even say that video from the MiniDV tape can not be transferred via USB werden.Ach yes, and no video editing software? For $ 1000 Canon was able to give you something not on the DVD. Sure, I can Microsoft Movie Maker, but I can not say that I like it. Rating: 1 / 5

We spend to buy $ 768, the camera. However, when we first received. The camera box was not locked. we thought the camera should be a new and used further. End for the Port upload to the computer didnot work, and the Company completed the sale of this camera (J & K) refused to help each repair is available or because it went from 7 days after purchase. We are very pleased disappointed with this seller. Rating: 1 / 5

I was excited about the possibilities of a digital camcorder, more especially, if I could use it to “by” to convert my analog tapes to digital computer and video recordings. I read many reviews of the models with “pass through” capabilities. Many reviewers cited the poor ergonomics of the mini-DV camcorder. So today I went to Circuit City and will be dealt with several of them. I have the most impossible of them, with one hand. The buttons are too small, too close together. You can not switch off the tip of the thumb on the record button on and off. To reach the small wheel zoom is most difficult, without shaking or moving the camera. The cameras have a flimsy feel. Even if I could learn how to use it if I ask someone else to run it, it would be difficult to unmöglich.Niemand has a problem dealing with my Sony high8, and his video has had a very good resolution. I hope it lasts a long time. In the meantime, I’m searching for a stand-alone analog-digital converter. If I can not find that I just used my DVD copier and must be limited editing is capable. I was really looking forward to a very small HDV cameras that shoot at 24 frames per second could, until I read a footprint in the operation manual. It can ‘capture’ in 24 fps, but there RECORDS at 30i. So, if you ask me, the cinema mode is quite useless! Rating: 3 / 5
