I waited for this camcorder for a long time. . . and I must say, I am very disappointed. . . The main issue is the unique Sony format is used to play it extremely difficult to send or edit them. . . It is so bad that if you download the files onto your computer, you can not play unless you buy a Sony Vegas. . . or specific player or file converter. . . . These methods really belong to the last century. . . and Sony should be punished for it. . . I would highly recommend the SANYO product of the entry to MP4 format. . . I can learn more about this product. . . But really for me, this is a show stopper. . . the whole idea of the path for cassettes and DVDs is the ease of moving it to the comparison for the processing and exchange. . . to propose and be missed with their specific format it completely. . . Product produces washed out grainy video of Reset Settings. Forcing Dusk brings some color balance color back but accidentally press the camera button Easy to use washed-mode and a hunt for color correction settings. Sound is weak and the grip is horrible. Since the grip is so poor, press the record button makes all the video in a terrible shaking at the start and stop each clip. Also, there is no audio output for ear buds to listen to audio while recording or playback, and there is no FireWire port for transfer of existing products from Sony. What about the last two? Avoid this product, which is something that you expect from China in the $ 250 range, not something from Sony in the $ 899 range. Rating: 1 / 5

I bought the product for about 2 months and have serious problems with memory over 4GB had. It also shows low battery when you charge the battery, external sources and then put into the camera. The pictures are in daylight and good grainy in low light. Rating: 3 / 5
