Overall, this is an excellent 5 star camera. I bought it with the intention of recording HD video in the car on track events. Unfortunately, the OIS access to this and other HD cameras from Canon, with its stability. After careful research in various forums, I found that each stabalization camera with optical image will have this problem. am (please note that there is no “you need to on / off image stabilization” problem) I am still looking for an HD in-car camera, but in the meantime I’m using the Canon SD750 (Canon PowerShot SD750 turn) – one of the last non-OIS PowerShot cameras that capture up to one hour of video material. (Grab one, as you can only depricated Cannon of 750). Rating: 4 / 5

Update: Video recording in highest quality (24) can not be edited AVCHD disc, the included software will grade the video to 17 Uhr.Erster attempt: I shot video with removable memory card, watch the video was amazingly sharp and schön.Später: I found out that in the larger memory card is not built, the great, I prefer to drag the map to see videos with PS3 immediately after recording the video. With buil in memory that I have to burn it to disk, and it takes forever. It takes a long time to get the file be transferred from the camcorder to the PC. When you connect USB cable between the PC and the camcorder there is a message that you can not turn off the camcorder if it is connected to the PC. If you are down to the end, the message still stays on. What should I do? I do not know, I turn directly to the PC via the Disconect the cable. I could not intruction in Handbuch.Video quality in bright, sunny day is the same with my brother or my father Panasonic SD9 Canon HF10. In low light conditions (night) quality are almost the gleichen.Audio: Panasonic offers 5th 1, canon only offer Stereo.Include software is unusual place, it does not use common sense, such as Ulead VideoStudio, Pinacle etc. that you play to burn their way to or edit the video finden.Für the value I have the HF100, but my brother has asked me to get him a AVCHD-Camcorder.3/9/09 software problem: the software supplied ImageMixer ver 3rd 3 doesnot read the files from Canon HF10 and HF100 created not read the software with HF10 the files that are created by HF11. If some of a plan designed for the purchase of HF11 because of the large flash memory, should consider how to make a edit these files. May be if the price of the blueray disk fails, then I might be able to pay for this disk, but fit in the second thoughts, my home-video-(20-30min) perfectly to DVD with AVCHD quality, why I should pay extra blueray disk. So I buy a lot of research on the camera and yes, the RF would have been 10 cheaper and more economical, but sometimes it’s always got a neuesten.Ich for the price of about $ 400 less than what I thought I would pay, and man am I was excited. The Sony HDD cameras are an attractive menu system is still the best, but proprietary features made it less attractive for use with an iMac. The JVC and Panasonic Camcorders in similar price range had some better features and some that were not so good but the prices are very attractive, I ended up with the canon, just because I like the brand I guess an.Ich have my first video on the 24p Cinema mode on my iMac 24 “and fought with him at first. I bought this video camera to take on my travels and needed something for small, but with great picture resolution. The Canon Vixia HF11 fits the bill. The controls are very easy to use and the interface is almost foolproof. I use a MacBook Pro and iMovie and the camera is connected, I have had no problems. The video is sharp and clear on every setting for the video quality and the sound is very orderly. The best thing is the size. It is lightweight and easy to throw in a bag.
