Unfortunately I have not been able to spend much time in the field with this camera, because it was found with a broken lens cap. While Amazon will take care of customer service for me, I thought that I reached to get a replacement Sanyo lens cap. They are very difficult. Not only will you have to fax them a copy of the invoice, you must also send you the serial number from the bottom of the camera. (What a pain when you mark your calendar to call home from work because they know not only open during “business hours” and on you this weekend and not you, before you called.) This first experience with the Sanyo makes me very reluctant to want to do business with them or encourage others to the same thing I think Sanyo tun.Unterm line policy (and the strict enforcement of this policy) for the replacement of a plastic lens cover is quite remarkable, I quietly dumm.PS I said, the Customer Service Supervisor, this story that I would check if my concerns were not addressed. They were not, so here it is. Just the facts. . . Do you have the serial number and called back. I have a new story, because it within 30 days after purchase, my only way to deal with this problem was Amazon. No help from Sanyo. When I asked for a supervisor of the “Customer No Service” representative hung up. Call-back and this time instead of hanging on, I was transferred into oblivion by “CSR # 1″. Called again, and transfer a voice mail system of CSR # 2. Called again and spoke with “CSR # 3″ # 3 has a new wrinkle. To get a replacement lens, I do not need to only send them a copy of the invoice, the serial number of them, I need to also send them the old lens cap “for the assessment.” When I heard that message which I again asked who I needed to talk to in order to register my deep dissatisfaction with interactions with Sanyo in this matter. I was put on hold and after a few minutes he came back and said: “If you do me a copy of the invoice by e-mail include the serial number in the message text and attach a photo of the broken part, I will see if I have a spare for you. “I said that a picture of the defective part would not show anything and that I am not satisfied with hanging based on a hope that # 3 could make it for me. I wanted to know what needs to be done. Finally got carers on the track. He told me that would be independent of it weeks before a new lens cap could be delivered to me, because they have been re-appointed and come from abroad. Maybe I’m not the only one with this problem, because he said it waited for 7 other people on the same part. So I’ll send the darn thing back to Amazon and wait for another manufacturer to introduce an iFrame compatible camera. What a damn shame that has around happier rather than a customer Sanyo consumers who never buy their products again – to send all of their intransigence, to me a replacement lens cap. Had they been treated well there, I probably would have waited. What could it have cost a few dollars at most? On the positive side is the reason why I do most of my online shopping through Amazon. What a terrific, consumer-products of this company Rating: 1 / 5

I’ll be honest, I was skeptical when I saw the reviews started here. Many comments about people not receiving adequate technical support, horrible stabilization, and the lack of continuous recording. These appear far removed from grounds to justify a single star, but unfortunately I took the leap. I played with the Canon HFS100 before with the Sanyo because of the significant savings in basically the same CMOS sensor and aperture. I use a Velbon 540 and stabilization is not a problem in itself. For those on the fence about this really the stuff posted on vimeo view with stabilizers and wide-angle lenses. Well, as I said, this camera is for tinkerers, if you know what to get the roadblocks and do not mind, ready to enjoy a truly amazing camera. Who is this not? The average Joe and Jane host Bobby’s piano recital will hate this thing, just as they would hate a DSLR. [. . . ] PRO: + picture quality and appearance are among the best for a consumer camera under $ 2000. + External Mic Eingang60 fps means semi-slowmo shots that turned out awesome. + High speed recording properly, even if it lacks quality. + shorter lenses and filters available to do DOF and wide angle or telephoto shots. H. 264 + is easy to work and lightning fast to transcode badaboom.Con with NVIDIA ‘s: zero stabilization (fix: when buying a Manfrotto 585 for $ 99) — internal microphone on the back of the LCD (odd, really odd)-not for “My Mom” part of the interface is quirky.-no electronic Sucher.Bewertung: 5 / 5

My Sanyo camcorder had a vertical red and pink stripes on the right side of the picture and after 4 months, no longer captures both videos and photos. I just get a system error. No help from Sanyo about this topic, because I bought this camcorder, outside the U.S.. They said I need to pay to fix their defective camera. So now the new camcorder just a little Briefbeschwerer.Nach reading, which is C. Caine, who went to support qualified through with Sanyo, I WILL NEVER BUY from SANYO again and again !!!!! Come on, how much does a free freaking lens cap? And the business or goodwill, they would do with the right thing when he won it, only the lens cap is priceless, it is time to let the market decide! Let’s just put our hard-earned dollars in companies that stand behind their PRODUCTS AND FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS. The age of the available consumer goods is over! Rating: 1 / 5
