I returned this camcorder after having him for a few weeks. I have two big issues with this camcorder. There is a noticeable delay to focus, which is pretty frustrating, especially when you zoom into something. The other problem I had was that since the camcorder is so small and light, unless your hands are super-stable, can the resulting material rather wackelig.Abgesehen which I believe the transfer of files from the SD card on the computer seems a bit cumbersome. The software that comes with the camcorder is not great in my opinion nach.Die Sony Mini-DV tape camcorder I had before it a much better performance auf.Bewertung: 2 / 5

I bought the camera, and here was my Erfahrung.1. Took it out of the box and switched on – ready for an LCD had a dead Pixel.2. Shot a quick video, which I then copied onto the hard disk from my SD card. Insert the SD card in my computer and tried to open the video, but to my horror, the video is in. mts file format, which requires a special codec to open it and the video anzusehen.3. Attempts to use the software hoping it would see the appropriate codec for me and edit the video, install the software but requires the serial number. I find the serial number and entered it into the software, but still does not recognize for some reason the software would. Triple checked the manual to make sure I was entering the serial number. (What is behind the battery.) 4. Formation relating to the software that came with the camera, has a bit of research online and found that the VLC media player codec required to view my video file to be opened. VLC Media Player installed, and I could finally see my video, but unfortunately the video was not choppy, it was so worth watch or edit them. I run an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 4 GB of RAM running Windows Vista. I do not think that I do not see the hardware resources to the video reibungslos.5. Decided to try a few other video clips and transfer of the hard disk to my PC. When I plugged in my USB cable directly to the camera, I was invited to my AC adapter plug. , Since one does not require the $ 100 Flip, that the power adapter and USB cable must be plugged in was disappointing at the same time to transfer videos. (I can only because of the much better video quality that is necessary to take.) 6. After transferring the rest of the videos I’ve tried to reinstall the software that came with the camera. Still does not accept serial number so I called Canon. I navigated my way through their phone tree and was put on hold. Hung up after 20 minutes of music and hold the camera back into the Laden.Zusammenfassung – do not waste your time. It is too valuable for this camera. Rating: 1 / 5

Canon website says the list price for this camera (HFS100) is $ 1099 – $ not 1299, as specified by Amazon. Maybe Amazon does not have the camera with the HFS10, which list for $ 1299, is confused. Rating: 5 / 5

This is the first camera I ever since my parents are big, clunky VHS camcorders. I have had the camera for a few weeks and am very happy with it. I gave it only 4 stars because I have not tested all of the many features. High Defnition writes directly) to SD memory cards (no internal memory. Copying to computer is very fast. Does doing an excellent 8MP photos. I love the + 24p Cinema Mode. Its small, so you need a steady hand at times. All in all I am very satisfied. Rating: 4 / 5

I will briefly fassen.Canon it argues that this camera records in 30P. IT. NOTES. ALWAYS NICHT.Die camera records in interlaced mode. It then uses the camera de-interlacing to give the appearance of 30P material. But the camera has absolutely no way to take in the native 30P format. Bring the 30P footage in FCP and Whamo, interlaced material. Canon, are you actually cheat and you can have your camera again. Rating: 1 / 5
