The recording is good, but the recording software is registered on the computer at incredibly stupid and useless. What you need to do is always your shots on the software Canon provides check in the box. I have an SRL camera and I expect the same quality product from Canon. Very disappointing. Rating: 1 / 5

I bought this camcorder and took dozens of videos of my newborn. . . . I just can not find it, the camcorder to my Mac. “It flat out does not recognize the video. The still image working software for Mac, but not the video application. Also, if you want this as a digital camera go for it. But if you have a camcorder, this is NOT your product! I found the Cannon FS10 video camera a difficult transition from VHS tapes or cameras. It simply has more features that I use ever. The instruction manual is clear and helped me on my way through the properties. The FS10 works perfectly and would be my choice again. Rating: 5 / 5
