Would my mother like the new Harry Potter movie?

My mother wants to go with me to see the new movie (She has only seen the first 2 movies. I was planning just to sum up the major plot points in the car ride over.) Do you think a mother would like this movie? Is it too dark? Is it only enjoyable to the younger audience?
