I am forced to create the review because of entirely uneducated assessment left by “E. Robles “VJ Pike”. He apparently never ever went to the menu section of the camera. When i get any electronic item, the initial factor I do, is to go to the Menu and play all around with the setting. If he had ever visited the Menu section, let alone play close to with it, he would not have written an embarrassing and incorrect critique. Whilst I agree with SDHC portion is falsely advertised, markers and 41x zoom are not.
Go to Menu->Camera Setup->Zoom and you can select in between 37x, Advanced 41x, and 2000x digital+optical zoom choices.
Go to Menu->Display Setup->Marker and you can select degree marker and grid options.
These are not falsely advertised, but the user did not have the chance to find out. I wonder if he bought the exact same camera or believed he did and purchased a thing else.
With regards to the camera, its a solid performer. Zoom is far more than enough. Video high quality is fairly excellent although not the very best (For one thing much less than 200$ what do you anticipate? HD?).

It is a great camcorder for the price. My only complaint is that it is firewire which limits the ability for Windows primarily based systems to utilize the gadget. The 900 has only tape whereas the 950 employed SDHC memory. I actually purchased the ZR950 after this buy to get the USB connection and I am significantly happier.
