I am forced to write the review due to the fact of totally uneducated critique left by “E. Robles “VJ Pike”. He apparently by no means went to the menu section of the camera. When i get any electronic item, the very first point I do, is to go to the Menu and play about with the setting. If he had ever visited the Menu section, let alone play around with it, he wouldn’t have written an embarrassing and incorrect critique. Although I agree with SDHC portion is falsely advertised, markers and 41x zoom are not.
Go to Menu->Camera Setup->Zoom and you can pick among 37x, Advanced 41x, and 2000x digital+optical zoom options.
Go to Menu->Display Setup->Marker and you can select level marker and grid alternatives.
These are not falsely advertised, but the user did not have the chance to uncover out. I wonder if he bought the very same camera or believed he did and purchased something else.
With regards to the camera, its a solid performer. Zoom is much more than sufficient. Video good quality is pretty very good even though not the greatest (For a thing less than 200$ what do you anticipate? HD?).

It is a great camcorder for the price tag. My only complaint is that it is firewire which limits the ability for Windows based systems to utilize the device. The 900 has only tape whereas the 950 utilized SDHC memory. I in fact bought the ZR950 after this buy to get the USB connection and I am significantly happier.
